The Slow Food Yolo Convivium is a member of Slow Food USA. We meet several times a year to celebrate the bounties of our region and share in the spirit of the communal table.
Our events are open to the public with the exception of occasional members-only events. Members generally receive discounted event prices as well as advance information about upcoming events. For more information on joining SLOW FOOD USA, visit the Slow Food USA web site.

6th Annual Village Feast
Imagine sipping home-made watermelon fresca and local wines before enjoying a meal of heirloom tomato salad, grilled lamb with fresh herbs, and roasted seasonal vegetables. You are at The Village Feast.
The 6th Annual Village Feast will take place this summer on August 28th at 12:00 noon under the Sycamore Trees in Central Park in Davis. Guests will enjoy local wines and a leisurely lunch made with seasonal ingredients all sourced from the Davis Farmer’s Market.
The event, co-sponsored by Davis Farm to School Connection and Slow Food Yolo, is a fundraiser for Davis Farm to School Connection, and supports school gardens, second grade farm visits, recycling programs in the schools and local, seasonal produce in the school lunch program. Guests are invited to further support these programs by bidding at the unique silent auction offering local art and regional food and wine experiences.
In keeping with Davis Farm to School Connection’s goals of waste reduction and education, all participants bring their own tableware, including plates, knives, forks and spoons, as well as cloth napkins. Wine glasses are provided.

Silent Auction
Enjoy our unique Silent Auction featuring regional food, wine and art. These items attract those who appreciate delicious food and wine, enjoy local art, love to cook, and like to have fun doing it! Many of our items feature food and wine "experiences" that are not available for purchase elsewhere. Feel free to enjoy the "Buy it Now" option open to the public online now through August 26th, or get excited to bid live during the Silent Auction at the Village Feast on Saturday August 28th. Winter Holiday Party & Slow Food Yolo Annual Meeting
Presented by Slow Food Yolo with our major sponsor, the Davis Food Co-op for the third year

Bring a bottle of Yolo County wine and seasonal appetizers to share. This is a nice opportunity to celebrate the holidays with fellow Slow Food Yolo members and to taste an assortment of local wines and local bites. Go to www.atasteofyolo.com to find the perfect bottle of local wine. Davis Food Co-op and Nugget Market both carry a nice selection from Yolo wineries.
TICKETS: $10 per member/person. Tickets available at the door. No RSVP necessary.
